Gombey Print

An iconic symbol of Bermuda. The Gombey's music and dance has been passed down through generations since the first slaves gathered to celebrate their African heritage. Masks were originally worn as protection to hide the faces of those participating from their masters.

This photograph was taken by Scott Gemmell and a percentage of sales will go towards the 2018 Bermuda Gombey festival. Learn more here.
