About the Artist: Graham Foster

Graham Foster is an acclaimed Bermudian artist known for his vibrant and intricate paintings that capture the essence of Bermuda's cultural and natural heritage. His work often explores themes of history, mythology, and marine life, blending detailed realism with imaginative storytelling. Foster's art is celebrated both locally and internationally, with pieces featured in prominent collections and exhibitions. His most famous work, the Hall of History mural at the Bermuda Maritime Museum, spans over 1,000 square feet and vividly depicts 500 years of the island's history.

Hitstory & Inspiration

The Bathysphere, a pioneering submersible, made its historic dives in the 1930s, plunging to unprecedented depths and revealing a hidden world teeming with life. These daring expeditions off Bermuda’s coast unveiled astonishing marine species, some seeming prehistoric. The Bathysphere's journey not only showcased human ingenuity and the drive for discovery but also ignited a passion for ocean conservation.

Part Proceeds to BUEI
